I was born in Montréal . I speak:

• French: my mother tongue.
• English.
• Hindi, with some difficulty.
• Sanskrit (mostly reading, actually).
• Some broken Latin.
• Some broken Spanish.

I am Buddhist and Vegetarian (one doesn't imply the other).

My wife is a citizen of the USA. My brother's wife is a citizen of Mexico. Thus we have a true NAFTA family. I'm now living with my wife in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA.

I have studied at the École Polytechnique de Montréal: the biggest engineering school in Canada (last time I checked). I have studied art and anthropology at Mongtomery College. In Fall 2003, I began graduate studies at UPenn in South Asia Studies. I am going to finish my M.A. in Summer 2005 and begin a Ph.D in Religious Studies at UVA in Fall 2005.
